About the Role
We are seeking dedicated and empathetic Disability Support Workers to join our growing team in Narellan, NSW.This role offers flexible work arrangements, including community visits, in-home support, and the ability to complete documentation or virtual check-ins from home.
You will work closely with participants to enhance their independence, social inclusion, and overall quality of life through personalised daily living, community access, and skill-building supports.

Requirements

Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in disability, aged care, or community support
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, Community Services, or equivalent (preferred)
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and Police Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
  • Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage flexible schedules

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred support to participants in accordance with their NDIS plans and goals
  • Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
  • Support clients to access the community, attend appointments, or engage in social and recreational activities
  • Promote independence and skill development through active support
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and incident reports (can be completed from home)
  • Communicate effectively with participants, families, and team members to ensure consistent care
